The buck-series counter-pass — two run fakes one way, QB boots opposite with three receiving levels.
The design
How Waggle works
- The Wing-T's signature pass, and for most teams the only pass they need.
- The QB reverse-pivots, fakes the fullback dive, fakes the buck-sweep handoff to the halfback, then BOOTS OPPOSITE the sweep flow behind a pulling protector.
- That counter-flow is the play's defining misdirection: defenders who run with the buck action leave the boot edge and crossing windows behind them.
- It is a moving pocket, not a dropback.
- The wingback releases to the FLAT on the boot side, the tight end crosses into the INTERMEDIATE window at 10-14 yards, and the split end supplies the DEEP route to the same side.
- Progression is flat, crosser, deep, then RUN.
