1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using XO Gridmaker (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by Kerry Software, LLC ("XO Gridmaker," "we," "us"), a Texas limited liability company.
2. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
3. Your content
Plays, formations, playbooks, and other content you create remain yours. You grant XO Gridmaker a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely as needed to operate the Service for you and any users you share with.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to violate any law, infringe anyone's rights, upload malicious code, attempt to disrupt the Service, or access accounts or data that are not yours.
5. Objectionable content and community conduct
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. You agree not to post, share, upload, or transmit content that is hateful, harassing, threatening, defamatory, obscene, sexually explicit, discriminatory, or that bullies or demeans any person. This applies everywhere on the Service — including playbook names, roster and player names, team messages, shared plays, profile names, and your interactions with our AI assistant. XO Gridmaker is used by youth coaches and athletes, and we take this seriously.
You can report objectionable content or abusive users from within the app. We review reports and act on violations — including removing content and suspending or terminating accounts — typically within 24 hours. Playbook owners may also remove and ban abusive members from their playbooks. By using the Service, you agree to this conduct standard and to our enforcement of it.
6. Referral rewards
Referral rewards are promotional and are subject to the program terms displayed in the Service. Unless we state otherwise, the referred person must be a new coach attributed to your referral. Your permanent public referral link may be posted online, but it does not itself guarantee a reward. They must make a successful payment greater than $0 for an eligible paid coaching subscription.They must complete a verified paid App Store coaching subscription. Signups, playbook creation, and team invitations alone do not qualify.
A verified positive payment earns the referrer one month of their current paid plan. Canceled, refunded, disputed, reversed, revoked, duplicate, self-referred, or fraudulent transactions may be rejected or have their reward reversed. Each distinct new paying coach may generate one reward, and the same referral link may be reused for multiple new customers. Referral program terms and conditions are subject to change. We may change, suspend, or end the program for future referrals, while rewards already finally issued remain part of your account history.
7. Film Room
Film Room is an optional add-on to Team Coach and may also be included in a league contract. You must have permission to upload, process, and share every video you add, including any consent required when minors, spectators, facilities, or events are shown or heard. You control which approved team members receive access. If a team owner enables external sharing, players and coaches who can view a video may create a link that works without team sign-in. Anyone who receives that link may view or forward it while it is active, and the team owner is responsible for enabling external sharing only when that distribution is authorized. Turning external sharing off disables the team's existing external Film Room links.
Each Film Room includes the stored-video capacity shown at purchase. Additional capacity is charged only when an authorized account or league administrator chooses it. We do not automatically add paid capacity or delete existing film when a limit is reached; new uploads pause until capacity is added or stored film is removed. Links to film hosted by an external provider may still be saved without using hosted Film Room capacity and remain subject to that provider's terms and privacy practices.
An eligible first-time Film Room customer may begin a seven-day free trial after selecting the monthly or annual plan and providing a valid card. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the selected subscription begins automatically and the card is charged the price shown at checkout. The subscription then renews at the selected interval until canceled. You can cancel before or after conversion through Manage billing; cancellation takes effect according to the date shown there. When you cancel a personal Film Room trial or subscription started through checkout, we keep the footage for 30 days after access ends so you can reactivate and keep it. After that 30-day window, the footage and its playback copies are permanently deleted. This automatic cancellation policy does not apply to failed-payment or disputed-payment cancellations. Film paid for through an active league contract follows the league's access and retention terms instead.
8. Service availability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, XO Gridmaker disclaims all warranties, express or implied. XO Gridmaker's total liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-product or via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
