Purpose An optional misdirection change-up after the team can execute a stationary handoff. This two-exchange play asks more of beginners than Sweep or Dive; install those first.
Motion and exchanges leaves the right side and motions behind the line toward . Snap early enough for to control the ball before the first handoff. After the snap, takes the first handoff moving left; comes across from the left, takes the second handoff and carries back right. The two marked exchanges are separate handoffs, not passes.
Assignments
Coach it Walk motion, snap, first handoff and second handoff as separate steps. Mark both exchange points. Add speed only when each ball carrier consistently secures the ball. Use one motion player; everyone else stays set until the snap.
Watch for An early arrival at either exchange, two runners colliding, or a disciplined edge defender waiting on the return. A reverse does not guarantee an open edge. Use only where the league permits multiple handoffs and running on that down and field zone; check rush and motion rules. This is an advanced option, not a required opening-day install.
