Coaching focus Watch the defender between the two routes: throw to the open receiver as the break happens. Rehearse snap, eyes, throw against a controlled rusher. The outside receivers' splits and the quarterback's depth both add to the actual throwing distance.

Install plan Install one side first. For a young quarterback, rehearse one primary target and the nearby outlet before asking for a full-field read.
