Coach it Rehearse the dig and sit with one defender choosing a depth. Add the wheel only after receivers can keep their lanes. Confirm that the tight end is eligible and the outside receiver is off the line before using the call.
Watch for An underneath defender sitting in the throwing lane, a safety driving the dig, or pressure beating the intermediate timing. This is a layered passing concept, not a promise of a single uncovered receiver.
