basicaka All Slantsaka Double Slants
Mirrored quick slants that attack inside leverage on rhythm.
The design
How Slants works
- The outside and slot receivers release vertically for three yards, plant off the outside foot, and cross the defender's face on the canonical shallow Slant angle.
- The back widens underneath and an eligible center settles as a short outlet, keeping the mirrored slants from collapsing into the same throwing lane.
- The quarterback preselects the best leverage side, confirms the window after the snap, and gets the ball out on rhythm.
